Look At The Fruit On The WWDB Tree

Look at the fruit on the tree is what my upline used to say as an example of why we needed to follow the teaching of the WWDB leaders. I thought it was sensible at the time but now that I am free of the "spell" I was under, I can see that the WWDB tree has little fruit and some bad fruit. I think it's significant to mention that a founder's triple diamond went bankrupt. Reading through the court documents, I was shocked to discover that a founder's triple diamond made less than a million dollars a year from Amway. While he made a nice income, I think he is still a fraud for the way they sold the business opportunity. I also read some experiences of IBO's who were progressing up the ranks had their businesses apparently taken apart by WWDB leaders. Maybe they don't really want downline to succeed at that level because then they get less income from the tools? It looks like the WWDB tree is getting bare and whatever fruit remains looks far less attractive.

Is WWDB A Scam?

During my time in the business, I recognized that the Amway business is divisive. You are either in it or you are against it. There aren't that many neutral people. I think mostly everyone has probably heard of Amway and probably heard of some crazy IBO's tricking people or outright lying about the business. I think it's because Amway (formerly Quixtar) the business cannot stand on it's own merits. A lot of people have tried Amway. Some gave it a good try and some did nothing, but everyone I was associated with seems to think that Amway and WWDB was a scam because after we quit, we realized we had been taken advantage of. What my friends and I did not undestand was how much potential profit our upline made from the tools system.

Tools were the emphasis of most meetings. Sure I suppose at times the speakers would mention getting some customers but they never taught how to actually do this and it was usually glossed over and then dedication to upline and the system was hammered into our minds. After I quit the business, I started to find websites about Quixtar (at the time) and Amway and realize I was just one of many who got sucked into a scam. The WWDB leaders all seemed to give advice that benefited themselves and not the downline. Seems as though WWDB is going through some rocky times now. Maybe what goes around comes around afterall?

Copy (Duplicate) Your Upline Success

Triple diamond in bankruptcy court, double diamond missing on WWDB website. Rumour has it that Wolgamott might be seperated awaiting a divorce. Not many years ago these guys were thought of as untouchable. Unlimited income and unlimited success. Some of the veneer has come off and what's underneath isn't that shiny. Why should any downline take advice from these men. They have been exposed as frauds in my humble opinion.

Another Interesting Comment About Amway

Anonymous said...

Honestly, I don't think Amway folks or these con men ministers really care if they end up in heaven or not. They are in it for the money .. for here and now.. and most of the Amway folks are in it, because they are desparately looking for the easy way in life.. and frankly it isn't going to happen..

Amway is the hardest business in America and takes more work and time than any other job there is. But the guys in it need to get you to believe otherwise..

That's their job. But I have never met an Amway IBO who wasn't constantly working.. when you add up all the time they put in it.. it is usually less than a $1 an hour after taxes.. or negative income. I dated this one IBO and we spent Sunday night signing up his neighbor and the guy bought once. It took three hours of his time and my time and the neighbors time to get him signed-up and he quit after one buy. This happens all the time. He was only buying to be nice and after that he kept calling my friend's business " that stupid business" ....

Another Interesting Amway Comment

To the 'new IBO'. You are a fool. I never lost any money in Amway, because I refused to get involved when my boyfriend tried that scam talk on me too. You are falling victim to the marketing scheme. They come on with the low key soft sell pitch first, and only after they get you to 'believe'. The easiest way to reach the younger crowd is with low-key talk. They talked my boyfriend into this mentor/slave relationship too. His upline had him convinced that the upline was his very very best friend in the entire world.

When it came to dating only his upline could pick him a wife. As a girlfriend I was given the speeches about submitting to my boyfriend, giving up my family and all other relationships, and my well-paying job, for my boyfriend's dream. Cults work that way little stupid girl... you moron.. you are about as stupid as come dummy...

You aren't helping people when 99.9% will fail and you are telling working single moms to give up their time with their babies to do the business.. you dont' have kids yet.. you don't care if a child goes hungry one night so you can mess around with thier mothers time.. I am a mother of two kids.. and this man wooudl have destroyed my career and my life if I would have followed this career making 18 cents oer hour.. my children will instead be going to Harvard instead of starving to death.

Is WWDB On Shaky Grounds?

I've been reading up on Amway news and it seems like WWDB leaders are on shaky footing. I have read about Greg Duncan filing for bankruptcy. I have read about Brad Wolgamott disappearing on the WWDB website. I am guessing that he is either divorced or in the process. I know these kinds of affairs (no pun intended) normally get ignored or brushed off, but with such prominent leaders being involved, one cannot help but notice it. I also read on another blog that a bunch of WWDB diamonds are selling off their homes, possibly because they can no longer afford them. Some of these folks told the audience that they buy their homes in cash. I guess some of these leaders flat out lied when they spoke about their finances and certainly gave the impression that they lived the lifestyle of a king. I guess the old saying applies and is finally catching up with these diamonds. "What a tangled web we weave, when we practice to deceive". I can't really say I feel sorry for any of them though.

Amway LOS's Can Wreck People

See this testimony:

TESTIMONIAL: My 22-year-old son fell for the Amway LTD "Christian" branch. Someone who was a conservative, kind, honest, "serving others" kind of person, in just a few weeks, became a hateful, arrogant, greedy, lying, disrespectful beast of prey on friends and the unwary. His mother and I are grieved to no end over the way he has lied to friends and family over "the business." He is broke, can no longer function in any job he gets, thinks a fortune is going to fall into his lap, has no respect for any authority - police, God, employer, on and on. He has turned his back on all of his true friends and family for his "new, true family."

His branch of LTD touts that they are a "church," and even have conducted baptismal services in the Atlantic while having "church services" at a hotel in Myrtle Beach, SC - of course, that "church" has only met ONCE, and the majority of the weekend was meetings and goofing off!!! AMWAY's LTD branch in central NC is a scam!!! We lost a great son to a dishonest man who sold him a pack of lies.
