Is WWDB On Shaky Grounds?
I've been reading up on Amway news and it seems like WWDB leaders are on shaky footing. I have read about Greg Duncan filing for bankruptcy. I have read about Brad Wolgamott disappearing on the WWDB website. I am guessing that he is either divorced or in the process. I know these kinds of affairs (no pun intended) normally get ignored or brushed off, but with such prominent leaders being involved, one cannot help but notice it. I also read on another blog that a bunch of WWDB diamonds are selling off their homes, possibly because they can no longer afford them. Some of these folks told the audience that they buy their homes in cash. I guess some of these leaders flat out lied when they spoke about their finances and certainly gave the impression that they lived the lifestyle of a king. I guess the old saying applies and is finally catching up with these diamonds. "What a tangled web we weave, when we practice to deceive". I can't really say I feel sorry for any of them though.

Amway LOS's Can Wreck People
See this testimony:
TESTIMONIAL: My 22-year-old son fell for the Amway LTD "Christian" branch. Someone who was a conservative, kind, honest, "serving others" kind of person, in just a few weeks, became a hateful, arrogant, greedy, lying, disrespectful beast of prey on friends and the unwary. His mother and I are grieved to no end over the way he has lied to friends and family over "the business." He is broke, can no longer function in any job he gets, thinks a fortune is going to fall into his lap, has no respect for any authority - police, God, employer, on and on. He has turned his back on all of his true friends and family for his "new, true family."
His branch of LTD touts that they are a "church," and even have conducted baptismal services in the Atlantic while having "church services" at a hotel in Myrtle Beach, SC - of course, that "church" has only met ONCE, and the majority of the weekend was meetings and goofing off!!! AMWAY's LTD branch in central NC is a scam!!! We lost a great son to a dishonest man who sold him a pack of lies.

Amway or Education, Seriously?
I am posting this recent comment. I am unofficially retired from blogging but I may post a gem or two occasionally.
My friend is a Christian and a Gideon and uses his religious affliations to gain the confidence of his Amway prospects. There is nothing ethical about what this man is selling. We use to date, but when he told me Amway would be a perfectly acceptable alternative to sending our kids to college then I called it quits. My son wants to be a neurosurgeon, and the last thing on earth I want is for him to be conned into trying to sell Amway and giving up his real dreams for that. I found out my Amway friend is lost anyway..only making $8 a month after taxes, but he would have given his Amway as a perfectly acceptable alternative to my son growing up to be in a respectable profession that he chose where he could feed his family. Amway men are cons.. beware. They are brainwashed and sick. They can't see straight at all. If you were a mother would you want your son making $8 a month or going to college with a real chance of feeding himself oneday?

What's Wrong With You IBO's?
I had to come forward with one more post. I still visit this blog to check the comments and I must say that the IBO's or the comments by those who favor Amway are completely out of line. Some of you leave nasty and vile comments, which is why I had to resort to moderating comments. Some of you continue to accuse me of being other bloggers and some of you are just completely clueless. I thought IBO's are trained to be nicer people and to deal with people with diplomacy, but it's getting ridiculous. I know it's not all IBO's acting like this but it sure seems like most of the comments here have been negative, and these negative comments are apprently from IBO's and Amway fans.
At least post some truthful and civil comments or your thoughts will be tossed in comment moderation.
Over and out.

Amway Members Act Like Cultists
This will be my last post. I have gotten past the bug that made me come forward to speak about my Amway experience. The blog will remain as a memorial of sorts. My brief blogging experience has been one where I have debated and dealt with some pro and con Amway people.
I have noticed that some Amway people indeed act like cultists. They came here to bash me and question my credibility. I have been accused of being other bloggers, as if I am one of only a few people who think Amway is a bad idea. I have read, but not commented on other blog, in order to keep my anonymity. I do not wish to have my former group or upline contact me anymore. I believe that the way the low level IBO's defend their leaders and speak highly of their great teaching is very cult-like. These very IBO's are not making any money as independent business owners, yet they think they are successful so they keep "investing" into tools for their business.
It is a business type of cult. The only difference is that members may come and go of their own accord. It is the subtle peer pressure by other cult members that keep people involved. Everyone deep down has a fear of being labeled a failure or a loser. It is what keeps many people attending meetings and functions.
I am now signing off. I will check back every so often, but the blog will remain as a memorial of sorts to my Amway experience.

Calling All IBO's
There's been some good discussion here lately, sprinkled with some mud slinging, but I keep seeing IBO's talk about how great the business is, and I admit I did it when I was an active IBO. But I also overstated my success quite frequently when I was recruiting downline. I tried not to outright lie, but I did leave out some important facts or told half of the story, just to get people interested in seeing the plan. I feel some degree of remorse now, but when I was "fired up", I felt that anything was fair in love and war, and building a business was a war.
But I have a challenge for any IBO. That is to talk about your business in very open and frank terms. I mean we are all basically anonymous people with a screen name. One apparently zealous IBO has accused me of being 2 or 3 different people but I guess she didn't even bother to check my profile to see where I am from. What is wrong with saying you are new, and you have 3 downline and you are at the 600 PV level. There is nothing wrong with that and it may help new IBO's to relate and understand how the business can possibly work. I do not believe that the WWDB system is a good one, having firsthand experience. I believe also, that most organizations such as WWDB, operate more alike than not. One thing is clear, IBO's will struggle mightily unless they are selling goods to customers.

Greedy Amway IBO's
There was a recent anonymous commenter who left some scriptures on this blog, so I took the liberty of looking up a few scriptures about greed and the love of money.
1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the roots of all kinds of evil.
Luke 16:13 No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the others. You cannot serve both God and money.
I believe these messages are basically saying that man should not be greedy or lust for money. Unfortunately, it would seem that many WWDB leaders display behavior that suggests they honor the dollar more than anything else. Speeches about wealth and retirement. Buying all kinds of luxuries and always wanting more. It is, in my opinion, a display of lust for money. It has also been shown that some diamonds live in debt, unable to meet their financial obligations, and they end up becoming a slave to the dollar. It becomes their focus in life.
While these speakers are welcome to live as they please, I believe it wrong for them to convince others that they should do the same.
